Yukon

Yukon was founded by A.N. Spencer in 1891, and was named for the Yukon River in Alaska.

Yukon is a western suburb of Oklahoma City, and it is located in the central portion of the east side of Canadian County, Oklahoma.  The town is traversed by historic Route 66 and state highways 4 and 92. It lies just north of Interstate 40. Downtown Oklahoma City is 16 miles to the east.
